School Meals

Autumn Term  2020    Food at Beaufront First School

Our healthy and delicious school lunches are prepared by our Unit Manager, Miss Tiegan Snowball and Kitchen Assistant Mrs. Shirley Byerley.

We have one option for each day on the menu. We also provide a vegetarian option for those children whose parents have notified us of this preference. We are, of course, responsive to any special dietary needs that your child may have especially in regard to food allergies and intolerances.


Our passion is to provide the children with a healthy and varied meal but also to increase the range of tastes, textures and foods that your child is willing to try.

 The menu may vary from the published scheme due to availability of ingredients or if our chef is able to take advantage of different or better ingredients.


In the current Covid-19 situation we would strongly prefer that your child takes a school lunch in order to reduce things being brought into school from home.

Where children are “fussy eaters” we will work closely with you to try to encourage your child to enjoy the meals on offer.

Toad in the hole, mash potatoes and veg

Chicken curry with rice, naan bread and sweetcorn

Cheesy chicken and broccoli rice bake

Pork chilli con carne with sweetcorn and tortilla chips

Roast beef, mash veg and Yorkshire pudding

Spaghetti bolognese with carrots and garlic bread

Chicken, ham and leek pie with potato wedges and veg

Sausage fajitas with salsa

Fish and chips with beans and peas

Margherita pizza and beans
