In line with the Government PE and Sport Premium Funding, Beaufront First School aim to utilise the spend in the following ways:

• to increase the whole school’s physical activity 
• to raise the profile of PE as a tool for whole school improvement 
• to increase the confidence and skills of staff in teaching PE and Sport 
• to broaden the curriculum on offer to the children 
• to increase participation in competitive sport. 

A robust and comprehensive action plan and spending document is formalised annually, actioning key areas to develop the school’s PE offer. This is done in line with the School Development Plan.  For further information and breakdown of planned expenditure, please see the attached links.
