In line with the Government PE and Sport Premium Funding, Beaufront First School aims to utilise the spend in the following ways:

• to increase the whole school’s physical activity
• to raise the profile of PE as a tool for whole school improvement
• to increase the confidence and skills of staff in teaching PE and Sport
• to broaden the curriculum on offer to the children
• to increase participation in competitive sport.

A robust and comprehensive action plan and spending document is formalised annually, actioning key areas to develop the school’s PE offer. This is done in line with the School Development Plan.
